Main Jobs and Responsibilities

Assist the senior chef in preparing Continental dishes according to the restaurant's standards.

Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, sauces, meats and other food items required for Continental cuisine.

Maintain proper food quality, taste, portion size and presentation.

Follow kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and food-safety standards during food preparation.

Manage assigned kitchen work efficiently and maintain proper coordination with other kitchen staff.

Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients while minimizing food wastage.

Required Qualities

The candidate should have good knowledge of Continental cuisine, basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. The candidate should be hardworking, disciplined and able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment. Good teamwork, cleanliness, time management, willingness to learn and the ability to follow instructions are important qualities for this position.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹18,000 / month

Salary is negotiable according to the candidate's previous salary slip.
